Optimization Baseline
All Expert Advisors in our catalog are engineered, optimized, and historically validated using a strict baseline configuration of 1,000 EUR (or equivalent currency base) paired with a 1:30 broker leverage model per active symbol.
- Under-Capitalization Risk: Deploying these files on smaller accounts or utilizing lower leverage ratios significantly amplifies the potential drawdown percentage and probability of premature margin call stop-outs during normal market volatility cycles. Managing this exposure is entirely your responsibility.
- Multi-Asset Portfolio Compounding: Running multiple Expert Advisors simultaneously on different currency symbols within a single account creates overlapping risk windows. While combining symbols without scaling your capital base does not block trades execution, it significantly elevates your risk exposure and necessitates more frequent monitoring and manual evaluation on your side. This is especially dangerous if symbols share same currency (such as USD), because it increases the likelihood of strong price movements occurring on them simultaneously.
- Trading Volume Scaling: While larger accounts currently run on identical trading parameters, a customizable Trade Multiplier parameter will be deployed in a future software version. This will allow you to scale the magnitude of trading operations manually based on your specific account equity size and personal risk tolerance.
Release Backtesting
We chose these specific settings for release backtesting reports, to reflect typical real market conditions as closely as possible:
- Expert: [currently tested EA]
- Symbol: [designated symbol of EA]
- Timeframes: M5
- Date: last 8 years, last 5 years, last 3 years, last 2 years, last 1 year
- Delays: 20ms
- Modelling: Every tick based on real ticks
- Deposit: 1000 EUR
- Leverage: 1:30
- Margin Call Level: 100%
- Stop Out Level: 50%
These settings are also our QA criteria - any Expert Advisor release (either new or update to existing) will only be published if it passes all periods without getting stopped out, and with reasonable profitability/drawdown results. The backtesting for each release is always done using exact same .ex5 file that will be available for download upon publishing.
Feel free to choose any settings you consider appropriate during your own backtesting.
